The hotel needs updating. It has an old character/charm in the rooms but the lobby was newer. Not what i was expecting. The heat in the room was radiator, and would not really heat the room. It slightly leaked at the knob to open the valve. Good location for where i needed to go, but i would not have picked this hotel to stay on site for rest and relaxing

Maybe a good place 40-50 yrs ago!
Really old hotel in a really quite city/village! I doubt that people can stay for more than a night on their way to Milan. I suggest to the owner to downsize the property so they can afforrd investing on renovating the place. With that size of the hotel and that condition, soon you will be out of business in the era of social media and Internet, because you will not receive good reviews and then you will not receive many guests and thus you will not be profitable for a long time (if you are at all now!). For me, that is more a business challenge to take the hotel and convert it to a more profitable and pleasent business, but I doubt the owner has the willing or ability to do so.

Really friendly staff with nice atmosphere, great wi-fi and pool area, however my room was dated and not the cleanest. Restaurant was very reasonable but with limited choice
