"This is a motel. It’s average in rating. Stairs to level 1 were a challenge when dragging luggage up and down them. Rooms are comfy and clean except for a few dirty finger prints on the TV cabinet. But because we stayed when there was a regional sports tournament happening we were significantly overcharged for our room. I paid the same amount we’d pay when staying in a 5 star hotel in Bali for a week! - $1200 for 2 nights. The motel clearly isn’t worth $600 a night which only served to leave a bad taste in our mouths. I suppose if I had paid the usual room rate which is around $150 per night it would’ve been more realistic and understandable. "

"The room needed updating as the walls and facilities were old and worn. There was noise from the traffic outside, the curtains wouldn't close but that wasn't a problem for us and the walls and floor needed redoing. The breakfast was included and was quite good with several choices of cereal spreads and juices. For the price we paid we were satisfied for one night stay but would not recommend to others. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep."

"Unclean - food under bench on opening door, long black hairs on bathroom floor beside toilet (that one grossed me). Advised staff when went to dinner and said would discount brekkie - told staff in morning but no reduction). Otherwise staff were very friendly. Meals - good selection and were lovely "

"This is our 3rd time to stay at the hotel. Loved the breakfast and the steak we had for our dinner. The dessert was different yet delicious. Staff were pleasant. Just didn’t like the several messages (text, calls) they sent/did asking us to confirm our arrival - of course, we booked and paid for it; and to let them know “exactly” what time… We are aware of the check in time and we don’t control traffic situation & if they must know, we were trying to finish a few jobs before we left. But, would still consider staying as it is near our relatives’ place."

"Reception staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Easy parking. Close to town facilities with a car otherwise a half hour walk."

"My wife complained that her side of the bed was a bit like sleeping on a hammock. Otherwise, it's a very handy place to stay and only 200 m from the bowls club."
