A fabulously relaxing hotel in a beautiful rural setting. The hotel is surrounded by a vineyard and horse riding is available onsite. If you don’t ride like us then enjoy the pool and the great walking trails locally. You can also do a wine and or a cheese tasting The wine in the restaurant is very good and you can also buy it by the case to take home with you. We came back for our second visit just so we could do this. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and kind. If you want a relaxing break in a sophisticated but relaxed hotel stay here.

Wonderful, eco friendly farm with horses, sheep, dogs (including rescue project) and two house cats. Staff is wonderful and food is excellent - prepared for you specially from advance selection to avoid waste! Can’t say enough good about the whole project!!

Excellent lication and facilities. Food could have been a bit better, specially breakfast. Considering that the farm is located in the middle of a cheese region it was a let down that they served a simple supermarket sliced cheese for breakfast. Otherwise our stay was superb.

Entouré de vignes, cet hotel d'une propreté exemplaire, offre une douceur de vivre exceptionnelle. Le personnel est très sympathique et très avenant. En résumé un séjour merveilleux entouré de personnes avec qui on a envie de sympathiser. Un grand merci et nous reviendrons très vite.

Fabulous hotel in a stunning location. We really enjoyed our stay there. The staff were so friendly, helpful and did everything to make our stay even more enjoyable. The location is stunning and a great base to explore the Sera Estrela National Park. Their own wines from the vineyard are also excellent. As is the homemade ice cream!!

Ruhiges, abgeschiedenes Hotel. Gut um abzuschalten und Ausflüge in der Gegend zu machen. Schade dass das Hotel selber nicht so viel bietet. Das sehr junge Personal gab sich mühe hatte aber Schwierigkeiten zu verstehen was man will (z.B. Brot zum Käse bestellt aber nochmals Käse bekommen, 2 verschiedene Glas Wein bestellt aber sie wollten 2 mal das gleiche servieren). Eine Kleinigkeit, aber wenn der Rest gut war...

Wonderful, classy, and very relaxing!

Everything about this hotel is top-notch. The room was spacious and comfortable. It's in a lovely rural setting that immediately makes you sigh a huge, "Ahhhhhhh". The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable. The staff was friendly, gracious and professional. All the food was delicious, we were blown away by their homemade cheeses!
