Would go back!

Beautiful view from our room. The place was beautiful full of art and made you feel like you’re inside a mini castle. The food was delicious. We would definitely come back. It was just outside Hallstatt but so happy we stayed here instead of Hallstatt. They had Donkeys we got to feed and pet in the yard.

Wonderful historic and charming hotel in Gosau.

Fantastic hotel with lots of history. I didn’t have much expectation when I booked the room here on my long waited journey to Austria. We arrived at night and couldn’t see much of anything. Went to town to have the best dinner on my trip because the hotel’s restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. The room is rustic but well appointed with ample supplies of amenities, hotel history leaflets and useful information. I woke at early at the sound of bells from the nearby churches. For dressed and walk the surrounding gardens, heated pool and sat in the cabana around by the pool glazing at the green mountains in the background. You can see the churches and some houses in the background. The surrounding makes me feel warm like a place where I grew up. Then, I went to have a breakfast at the main lodge. Again, the ambience and quality of foods far exceed my expectations. The quality of foods and services were exceptional. Would definitely recommends this historic hotel to anyone visiting Gosau area of Austria.

This property is exceptional. The family still runs the property which was a hunting lodge fit for aristocrats yet very warm homey and authentic. The views and sites a short distance from the pro are amazing. We loved the pool and fabulous breakfast. This property is just amazing as are the people running the operation.

The Landhaus Koller was a beautiful place to stay. It is in a quiet town with amazing views all around. It has a porch on the back that overlooks the pool and the mountains in the background which is an amazing seat for breakfast and dinner. The bus stop is close with transportation to Hallstatt, Salzburg, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would love to go back.

Besonders freundlich begrüßt, was heutzutage leider nicht selbstverständlich ist. Bei der Anreise erstmal baff tolles Haus und besitzt schönen alten Charme. Zimmer sauber also alles top.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with great views and location. We only stay one night and wishe we would have stay at least two nights. We loved this place! So close to Hallstatt, but without the crowds

Dinning with excellent view

The building itself and the surrounding was amazing. Breakfast and Dinner was very good and could enjoy the awesome view from the restaurant. Our room was clean but small and with no view at all. Room rate was high.

Hotel incrível na entrada de Gosau na Áustria, ótima parada pra descanso quando visitar Hallstatt! Fomos no verão mas não tivemos tempo de aproveitar a piscina aquecida! Deve ser mais incrível ainda no inverno! Quarto grande e confortável, tem até um rádio na cabeceira da cama, como antigamente, com músicas relaxantes! Vale cada centavo!

Salzkammergut paradise

The Landhaus Koller has one of the most awe inspiring views I have ever seen in all my travels across Europe and North America. The staff are appreciative and friendly. The breakfasts were nicely done each day and our one evening meal at the hotel was exceptional. The rooms are clean and comfortable although a little more worn than I prefer. Location wise it couldn't be better for exploring the Salzkammergut region or for day trips into Salzburg. The overall experience is very authentically Austrian. I would definitely stay again on a future visit.

Lovely

Delightful hotel in the countryside, view of mountains is beautiful, room was very clean, bath is remodeled, beds were comfortable, staff were very pleasant, food delicious. Loved sitting outside, very quiet retreat away from city noise. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, charming hotel!!!

Beautiful historic hotel!!! Wish we could have stayed longer! So peaceful- awesome views and in a beautiful natural setting away from the busy Hallstatt area- but just minutes away. We traveled with 2 teenage boys and they did not want to leave. Loved the Alps and were very glad for this 2 day break from visiting cities on our 3 week Europe travels. If you are looking for a hotel for your visit to Hallstatt- consider this one!!
