When I told him I was interested in the history of the region, he quickly told me 5 or 6 amazing tales from the distant past, as well as from his own lived experience. This is why we travel: to meet people like this! Did I mention this hotel is LOVELY with a fine attention to detail in all things? I wish I could’ve stayed longer!
