"10 out of 10 on all counts - the room, staff, amenities, and location were all excellent. Right on a park and a short walk to the old part of town. The staff were all super helpful and nice. And breakfast was delicious!"

"Second stay there. Same pluses and minuses. Four star hotel that is really a regular three star by international standards. Terrible parking setup where stalks are not always available to guests and include additional charges. Beds are the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on, so definitely not four star. In the flip side, the place is clean and very centrally located. Those staying there do so because of location mostly. If location is not important, go to a Holiday Inn instead."

"Beautiful building, some rooms have balconies, good aircon, basic bathroom but adequate. Short walk from the train station and almost in the centre. Beautiful park one street away. There is no kitchen but common area has a microwave, kettle and a small fridge (no sink, plates, mugs or cutlery) There is also a coffee machine, coffee costs €1. Good value for money!"

"I was greeted at the door upon my arrival and every day thereafter. I was given a list of local restaurants to eat at, and cultural sites to visit. There was always coffee and water, and my room was stocked with soft drinks, beer, wine, liquor, and treats and there were umbrellas at the door for guests. My room in this historic district was ultra-modern equipped. The room was the perfect sanctuary to rest and the bathroom was spa-like. I will definitely return when I come back to Plovdiv."
