"There wasn’t room to walk around the bed but there was more wardrobe space for hanging your clothes. The bathroom is spacious but the shower area is fully enclosed so it can be a little cramped for someone of a bigger size. Also, water can leak out of the shower into the toilet area if you’re not careful. The room isn’t very soundproof either and I could hear the loud music being played outside from some event. However, it was still a comfortable stay and I wouldn’t mind staying here again. "

" My sister and I had a wonderful weekend at Banyan Resort. We wanted an authentic Mongolian experience and a chance to sleep in a yurt, and Banyan was perfect. The resort is only a few years old but extremely clean, cozy, and well run. The staff could not be kinder. We rented both a yurt and a cabin since the yurts don’t have bathrooms. The yurt was incredibly warm and comfortable—even in October at –12°🏔️—and the cabin was a great addition with its bathroom, shower, and beautiful views of the snow-covered mountains and wildlife. The food was excellent. They have a real chef, and they went out of their way to make delicious gluten-free meals for my sister. We also booked a tour through the resort, which became one of the best parts of our trip. Our guide, Anand, was the best guide we had in Mongolia or Korea. He was passionate about sharing Mongolia, took us to meet a nomadic family, showed us the National Park, helped us try archery and hold eagles, and taught us so much about the country’s history. He even drove us to Ulaanbaatar afterward, toured us around the city, and recommended great food and shopping. He went above and beyond in every way. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend Banyan Resort for anyone wanting comfort, warmth, and a truly authentic Mongolian experience."

"Good comfortable room. Food was delicious and good size portion. Hiking nearby along with Turtle Rock. Correspondence was a little slow. Nice place to unwind."

"Very comfortable, classic hotel in the National Wrestling Federation area. Some staff were top tier, going above and beyond to make the stay great and easy; others probably need more training in hospitality but the good ones were excellent. Decent gym, okay spa (both operated by private companies). Could use more furnishings in the lobby and more/better restaurant options, but the bar is excellent. Rooms are solid, with great beds and other furnishings. The suite is worth it. Good proximity to some bars and restaurants, and not too long a walk to Sukhbaataar Square. "

"Interstate to be turned away at the door. After some pretty serious 4x4’ing to find the place, we showed our reservation# and booking details, but were told facility was closed for the season. I’ve joyfully used Hotels.com for many years and, and will continue to do so, but this is my first sub-optimal experience.
