"Have stayed at this hotel multiple times, always has been great and that is why we always go back. Unfortunately, this time we have an unpleasant experience at checking. We arrive a little after 4pm and were told that our room was not ready and that they will call me when ready (no specific time frame was given). We waited in the car. After one hour, I decided to go back in and ask if it would take much longer. If the answer was yes, we would go somewhere and try to do something until I got the call. I went back to the same person that I spoke with before and asked if he could give me an estimate of how much longer it would take. I was not upset and didn’t talk rude to him. Sadly, he did spoke very rude to me saying “No, I apologize, I said I will give you a call when ready”. While he said the words “I apologize”, it was not at all with the attitude of someone that was sorry, but rather someone that was annoyed with me, as if I was doing something wrong. Even though I was not happy at all, I chose not to say anything and just went back to my car. After another hour (6pm), we saw this person walk out to the convenience store next door, we guessed he was on brake. I went back in, spoke to a different person, explained the situation and that I was still waiting for a call. This person checked and very confused told me that our room has been ready. Very frustrating, not sure what the issue was, no explanation was given. After that the stay was great."
