"Absolutely Appalling – Checked Out Without Staying - Hotel still refuses to refund reservation payment. Asked to change rooms, only to be shown another clearly-used space — bedsheets just straightened, and a leaking AC dripping behind the bed. Totally unacceptable. Yes, the exterior looked okay with a neat lawn, but the rooms were filthy, unprepared, and unfit for paying guests. Worst of all, I had prepaid online and couldn’t get a refund, even though I left without spending the night. Avoid this hotel — they are not ready for guests, and certainly not worth your money. "

"Apparently, every night house music is played.... It was so loud that I wore ear plugs in my room. It says that there is a pool, but the pool was unswimmable.... they were slick with green algae. The beach is strewn with garbage (which I understand is something they cannot help).... I don't mean to be a bummer here, but buyer beware. The price point is great.... I came to Winneba to visit friends.... And the free breakfast is nice.... And the staff are very, very friendly. But, it is not the kind of resort where you will leisurely hang out by the pool. If you like loud house music, then this is the place. "

"After a roundtrip we stayed for 2 days and nights in La Villa Aphro to relax at the pool and beach. The hotel is in good condition, the staff is very helpful and friendly, dinner and breakfast is delicious. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable, with a big TV screen, and a safe. The bathroom offers a bathing tube and a nice douche. The reception managed a car transfer to the airport. All in all, we enjoyed our staying there"
