"Truly a once in a lifetime experience! We came all the way from the U.S. and loved every bit of our stay here. From the location to the staff, everything was excellent! You are located in Cannigione, so it’s very walkable. You can walk to the beach, grocery store, little shops, and tons of restaurants. The service is 5 stars. "Our stay at Sandalia Boutique Hotel in Sardinia was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome — everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with recommendations and anything we needed during our stay. The level of service really made the experience special. The hotel itself is beautiful, stylish, and very relaxing, with a wonderful atmosphere throughout. One of the highlights every morning was the continental breakfast, which was exceptional. There was a great variety of fresh pastries, fruit, cheeses, coffee, and local products — all beautifully presented and delicious. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and we would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a charming boutique hotel experience in Sardinia"

"Hotel clean and functional, but rather dated as other reviews mention. Plenty of secure parking available on site off-season. Pool area looked okay, but didn't take advantage. Breakfast not of great quality, and breakfast supervisor man rather hostile and peculiar, overly protective over his seating arrangements with multiple guests being relocated having sat at the "wrong table"."

"The view was beautiful, the room was spacious, and the front desk staff were super friendly and kind. Unfortunately, the restaurant experience was a complete disappointment. The moment we walked in, the bald man working there seemed unhappy to see us and immediately told us we needed a reservation. When we checked in earlier, we had asked about this and were told no reservation was required since the restaurant is for hotel guests only. We waited far too long for our food. By the time it arrived, it was already cold. The “ginger chicken” literally had pieces of raw, unpeeled ginger in it, and my salad never even arrived. A simple salad should not take that long to prepare, yet it never came at all. The poor service and unprofessional attitude completely ruined what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner. The front desk kindly sent two desserts to our room afterward, which was a thoughtful gesture, but it didn’t make up for the terrible dining experience. If you stay here, I highly recommend eating somewhere else instead of the hotel restaurant."
