"The room was clean and the staff were great. The only issue was the bathroom, which had a smell so terrible that we could barely use it. It was difficult to take a shower with the sewer smell coming from the pipes. It did help eventually when we ran some water, but it was the stinkiest room I've ever stayed in. The rest was great. "This was a lovely place to stay. Easy to reach on a public bus from Venice airport which takes you almost directly to hotel. Hotel pool is the highlight especially the outside pool which is open until 11.30am. Rooms clean and nice. Small town with a few lovely restaurants and direct train to Padova - where my conference was. Very glad I stayed here, "

"We felt like royalty staying at this elegant palace. The room is giant with antique furniture but all the modern conveniences. The bath also very large with great fixtures. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the famous Scrovengi Chapel and Emeritani Museum. Padua was a great city to visit and this hotel made it extra special."

Restaurants in the hotel but also close by - hotel is huge- we preferred the atmosphere of the restaurant next door. Room was large and comfortable, though felt a bit dated. The modern reception area belied the age of the hotel. But in all, would go there again."
