We were so pleased we chose Hotel Grimsborgir for our stay. It is in a beautiful location, easy to get to lots of different places of interest and the scenery is amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the accommodation was so comfortable and warm. The hot tub was a lovely addition.

The room is very nice and clean. The bedding is comfortable. We didn't try the hot tub but it looks nice. Convenient location for going to highland and golden circle.

This trip was a gift for my wife, to say she was pleased would be an understatement! Having never been to Iceland before and not really knowing a lot about the country, I used the reviews on Expedia to make my choice of where to stay. My wife and I were both very pleased with the accommodation at Frost and Fire. I opted for a superior suite, as I read the standard rooms are on the small size. Our room was very pleasant and clean, with a buautiful view of rivers and hills from the balcony....

This was by far the best hostel in Iceland for us. The hostel is very clean, we had private bathroom. There is a kitchen at each floor. The staff was friendly. Moreover, the hostel guests will get a discount at Laugarvatn Fontana.

Great cottages with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very well equipped kitchen.

Hotel Laxnes is located in Haholt which is about a 15 minute drive from Reyakvic. The views from the bedroom was stunning and there are plenty of facilities close by e.g. supermarket, pub and bakery. There is a bus stop just outside of the hotel and the number 15 and 6 go into Reyakvic, so it's easy to get into Reyakvic. The hotel was very clean and was cleaned everyday during our stay. Very easy to book , good value and excellent communication all the way to check in, very comfortable, clean, modern and spacious with everything you could need. Excellent parking, very easy to find and in a nice quiet location with some great scenery and lots to see close by. Hot tubs are a bonus and are a perfect place to relax in the evening.

Brilliant location for our road trip.

Good size comfortable apartment with everything we needed at a good price. The bed was really cosy and comfortable and we made good use of the hot tub, though you do need to give the owners a couple of hours notice before hand. You won't want to get out again with this cold weather! Location is about 15 minutes drive from the town of Selfoss and a good central point for the golden circle area. Owners we're really friendly and helpful.

The Artist Lodge is the highlight of our round trip this autumn. It’s located close to a peaceful fjord, yet well connected to the capital and route 1. We’re glad to choose it as our final stop this time, to have a well relaxed farewell to Iceland. Guests can enjoy a natural hot spring 24/7.

Great staff , family run, friendly and just really helpful. Have a car as alot cheaper than taxis and then you can always meet any trips at the bsi bus station which has free parking
