The Ranch at Death Valley – Inside the Park
10/10 Excellent
"A nice place with a pool and a tennis court.
I enjoyed my stay."
"Unexpectedly, this was the most comfortable bed on our two week trip. The room was big and spacious. Super important! We unpacked the car into our room due to the heat. "
"A truly unique and fantastic stay. Limited amenities, but it does have a microwave and fridge for guest use, as well as more history and charm than one can imagine without experiencing it. "
"Our stay at The Inn at Death Valley was nothing short of incredible. Despite the intense heat (it reached 46°C / 115°F during our visit!), the hotel remained beautifully cool and comfortable throughout — a true oasis in the desert.
The spring-fed pool was an absolute highlight. Surrounded by palm trees and open sky, it was the perfect way to cool off and relax after exploring the park. The natural water and tranquil setting made it feel more like a resort spa than a desert hotel.
The property is stunning, with a mix of historic charm and updated luxury. Our room was elegant, quiet, and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape during the day and star gazing at night.
We also loved the delicious breakfast each morning — fresh, generous, and served with a smile.
Being inside the park made it easy to explore early in the morning or late in the day when temperatures were more bearable, without the long drive in or out.
