Loved the many beaches in the area. It's a shame there aren't more restaurant and shopping options. But for the fishing and boating crowd, this looks promising. Some of the most breathtaking beaches and views.

Definitely visit the scenic spots & beaches south of Gold Beach. They are not necessarily visible from the Highway, but it's worth driving into each spot for amazing views.

We went to Gold Beach for rock hounding. It was great! A nice little town. Kissing rock was a cute place to watch the sunset.

It's a small OR town - not a whole lot happening but very charming people and enough restaurants to get you thru the trip!

Poethole Cafe has a great clam chowder bowl. The Indian Creek Cafe has fantastic breakfasts.
"The property in general was average. The pool was nice even though we didn't use it 😔 The woman at the front desk, Amanda, was pleasant and let is check in early which was very very nice! The room smelled like urine when we first entered. The smell eventually went away after the first night. It was noisy only because of kids. The boy upstairs was body slamming himself for three hours straight. We tried to be understanding since "quiet time" was 10pm. Even after the front desk asked the parents to have him settle down, it still went on for an hour and a half. Luckily it did stop at 10. It was nice for the price and location. "
"We stayed in the cottage room (it's actually the adjoining place next to the Gold Beach Inn called Ireland's Rustic Lounges). I felt like I was in a fairytale room. The walls were all wooden, and it was just a cute, neat little space. "
"This location was perfect for going to all the places within an 2 hours of brookings. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There are good restaurants and tidal pools close by. The harbor is a lot of fun to go through. Brookings is a great little town. The hotel condition could use a little touch up, but it doesn’t take away from the experience."
