"Room has nice views. We booked 2 rooms and was given rooms that came with another door that separated us from the common corridor. Felt exclusive and private. The bathroom lighting can be improved by having more switches. My room only has 1 switch to either on or off all the lights in the bathroom. Breakfast spread was extensive and some a la carte dishes like steak, pho and French toast were good! After check out, Concierge was very helpful in helping us direct the Grab car to the hotel's main entrance. Skillfully loaded all our luggage for us. Hotel security was good with staff around at the L1 lobby. To get to rooms, guests had to change lifts at L7 using room keys"

"We had a really lovely stay in Ho Chi Minh City and especially enjoyed our time at the Grand Hotel du Lac Boutique Saigon. The hotels location is excellent! On arrival, we did experience some initial issues with our room and some differences between what we had booked and what was provided. However, the hotel team went above and beyond to address everything and ensure that we were comfortable and well looked after. A special mention must go to Kelly, who was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. She made us feel incredibly welcome, listened to our concerns, and went out of her way to make sure everything was accommodated. Her warmth and professionalism really stood out, and she is a true asset to the hotel team. Despite the initial hiccups, the way the hotel handled the situation ultimately made a very positive impression on us. We would happily return and would recommend the hotel to others visiting Ho Chi Minh City."

"room was clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Location was at central of most activities. Manager was nice since I cut my trip short by one day and she was OK to reduce the total charge one day. In shorts, no regret to spend my trip at the hotel."

"Super friendly, attentive, respectful, and professional staff. The room is a bit small, and the window is too tiny to enjoy the city view, but the service is excellent—everyone from the doorman to the receptionist to the cleaning staff and kitchen staff. The staff is very helpful, polite, and professional. A big shout-out to Jade. She is patient and kind. I’ve watched her greet everyone with a smile. She makes you feel welcome and happy. Another big shout-out to Mr. Tan. He greets everyone at the door and helps with their luggage, all with a smile. He even makes small talk and makes you feel welcome Thank you for the lovely room decorations to celebrate our 29th anniversary. All HAPPY LIFE staff deserve a 5-star rating."
