Don't bother trying to call any of the "contact phone numbers" provided, no one will answer. Don't bother emailing either, no will get back to you. This place was an absolute nightmare!"

"We stay there for 2 nights during the stormy days. the house is flood with water and shaking vigorously because of the wind. We try look for help but no one pick up the phone. The cottage is nice but not recommend on bad weather days"

"This hotel saved us during a bad snowstorm. It looks unassuming from outside, but the room was very comfortable and the food is excellent. They had the best lamb we had in Iceland! The breakfast was a good selection and also high quality. The staff was lovely and accommodating when we made a last minute reservation. We didn't have Northern Lights the night we were there, but this would be a great location for spotting them. "
