The staff was friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and warm. Great for a family. The area was great. The only negative was I needed to call a few times to get a hold of some one but they are only there during regular business hours. Overall, it was a great experience for my family.

We loved this place and will go again sometime! It was only 2 miles from everything to do in Glenwood Springs, yet out of the hustle and bustle. Our cabin was very clean, with a front porch to relax on and great views. WAY better than a hotel!

It was a really nice cabin. Staff was really friendly. The cabin could have used hooks for hanging clothes for swim wear to dry.But other then that no complaints
Exactly what we wanted. Mountain cabin getaway, great views, no frills.

gas stove, refrigerator did not work
We rented the more expensive cabin with the gas stove only to find out it was not working. The refrigerator froze all the food we brought with us. It made a loud noise during our entire stay. Lets say little sleep was had. When we contacted the manager he said there was nothing he could do. We could cope with the old, nonfitting sheets and the plastic mattress covers.

Great hidden gem!
The Glenwood Canyon Resort cottage we stayed at was like new. Cozy and quiet with sunny views of the canyon walls. It was a perfect weekend getaway, just 5-10 minutes to restaurants and the awesome Iron Mountain hot springs. We are looking forward to coming back in the Spring or Summer. Now we know that the “No Name” exit off I-70 has a super hidden gem!
Beautiful cabin. Warm and cozy. Close to all attractions. Bring your owncoffee/cream, plates/uttens
Beautiful cabin! Warm and cozy. Perfect for our needs. Close to all attractions. Please bring coffee/cream and cutlery if you plan to use microwave. Great place for children. Would definitely come back here again.

Grizzly Fire Tragedy for Glenwood Canyon Resort
I stayed at Glenwood Canyon Resort several years ago on a girl trip. I wanted my Husband to experience it as well so I booked a two night stay at one of the cottages. We had hoped to ride our bikes along the Colorado River bike trail for a couple of days. Sadly, the Grizzly Peak Fire started at 1:30 on the day of our arrival, August 10th. We were unable to get there and spend the night at the LaQuinta in Glenwood Springs. The Resort has been amazingly proactive in communicating with us regarding a refund , which we understand is on the way.
We are very concerned about the future of the resort and hope that all are safe and that they will re-open soon. We will certainly make our way from Durango back to Glenwood as soon as possible. Thank you! Donna Martin

Cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed, staff was friendly and helpful. Would have been nice if restaurant and bar were open longer hours, but that may be due to limited operations from COVID
The best thing about the Glenwood Canyon Resort is its location just out of town. As retirees, we enjoyed being there when school was in session, able to enjoy the beautiful canyon scenery with peace and quiet. We can understand how the variety of activities would be a draw for families during the summer. Glenwood Canyon is drop-dead beautiful, and the bike trail along the Colorado River is wonderful. The bicycle access back into town is also wonderful. Our only suggestion is that the resort do a better job distinguishing between the amenities available with cottages vs. cabins. We were surprised to discover that there were NO dishes available in our cottage but appreciated the staff providing us with paper plates, bowls and plastic silverware. It also turns out that while there is WIFI access, it isn't available in individual units. Just at certain locations on the property.
Easy check in and convenient location one exit from Glenwood springs. Clean cute cabin. Only downside to the kitchen was that there was absolutely no cutlery or dishes.
I loved the actual cabin and feel of the property. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the linens were a low quality that did not fit and came off the bed (that was covered in plastic) every time we moved. Did not sleep well. The rest of the furniture was uncomfortable as well. It made it very hard to really relax after a day of strenuous activity. It was really disappointing because the cabin itself and the property itself were very nice.

Property was centrally located. However for 300 a night they could have replaced the 20 dollar door that was all chewed up at the bottom. Looked like a dog had tried to escape.
Was a great stay acomodating for a large group..defenitly coming back we had a modular home the cabins looked an right by yhe water

A cozy stay
Really enjoyed the place. It was comfortable and clean and the staff was excellent. The area was secluded but only one exit from Glennwood Springs. The scenery was spectacular. Glad we stayed their rather then in town. Please note that the cabins are small so that may be a consideration if there are a lot of people staying.

The cabins served their purpose and I would stay here again and recommend them to people with kids and dogs. Although the BBQ on the deck was filthy and the beds were average at best. But for somebody looking for a home base while visiting Glenwood Springs and wants to avoid paying Hotel prices this a good option.
The single cabins were adorable, and they smelt so woody (sounds weird but it was great). We had a lot of difficulties unlocking our cabin at night, and since there is no one at the front desk we had to bother people in the next cabin over for assistance. But other than the finicky door, it was wonderful!

Explore what efficiency means
The cabin was advertised as “efficiency”, we had no idea that meant coffee pot w/no coffee, no dishes, etc. dirty wash cloth in the bathroom, air conditioner in the bedroom had been removed so poor air circulation, no end tables by the couch to put drinks on so they were on the floor, and an attitude from staff. I would not recommend the efficiency cabins!
