Understanding that the building itself is historic, the property was not as welcoming for a family member using a walker in the reserved room. Overall the property served the purpose but was not our cup of tea."

"Great trip for my family. The outdoor pool wasn’t open yet and the indoor pool and hot tub got crowded. Good breakfast with lots of pastries and bagels. Clean maintained property. Room was clean and had the basics. Great area with restaurants within walking distance. Perfect little getaway!"

"A total mess of management. Booked one month ahead and cannot check in due to overbooking. Seems to be some rookies who didn't understand the booking process and messed up. The front desk is quite indifferent and just asks us to contact the booking platform to make up for their own fault. Apparently running a hotel here means accepting reservations you have no intention of honoring, then acting surprised when guests show up expecting a room. The booking system is treated like a suggestion. The customer is treated like a complaint. And the actual problem somehow becomes someone else's job to solve. Impressive level of dysfunction, genuinely."

"This was our second visit to this LaQuinta but will likely be our last. Too many deficiencies to overlook. Room was clean I think. Lighting was insufficient. Bed was awful. Worn out, I clung to the edge for a flat surface. The shower was #2 on our all time worst list. Took about 12 minutes to get hot water after running the shower and the sink faucet to purge the system of cold water. Then when there was finally warm water, you are left with less than 2’ of space (about 21” maybe) in the stream of water to wash and rinse yourself. Step out of the water, lather, step into the water, rinse (partially) step out of the water, turn around, step back into the water, rinse some more. Why? The shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers are in the way. AND, the shower doors are backwards - installed incorrectly. Add to all this, the very poor tile installation job on the floor and I was left with the feeling the owners do not care. Finally, as I’m seeing in all LaQuinta properties, the solid flooring makes the guest rooms an uncomfortable echo chamber. Speech (other gusts or the tv) is difficult to understand due to this echo effect. Who are you hiring as designers and/or remodelers? I recommend you pay closer attention! Piss poor installation of quality materials make the room look cheap. And the final straw was the facility is not sufficiently built to handle the job of being a motel. "Whilst we realised the property was fully booked, being Memorial weekend, our room on the ground floor looked out onto a closely planted fir tree. The wash basin barely reached a temperature to wash hands in so, shaving was not an option. Being busy, the breakfast area could not cope with the number of people trying to use the facility, this resulted in some eating in the outside area. The breakfast itself would have been adequate but each item ran out very quickly and one of the toasters did not work at all, resulting in a queue to use the slow working unit. The second day was slightly quieter but still the same chaos."
