"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. "Chambre petite et bas de plafond. Le lit est court (ne pas mesurer plus d’1,70 m) . Pas de télé, ni climatiseur, pas de sèche cheveux ni prise dans salle de bain. Promiscuité avec les autres chambres. Les hébergeurs ne sont pas trop disponibles. Par contre joli domaine bien aménagé à l’extérieur. Ne convient pas aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Pas très bon rapport qualité /prix à mon avis "

"This delightful old property in the countryside, with a welcoming host, diner was served in the garden & breakfast was very satisfying. We only stayed the one night while en-route through France, but could have stayed longer."

"We were on a cycling trip. Check in was easy and the staff very helpful in locking away our bikes in a secure location. The beds were very comfortable and showers hot! Breakfast was standard continental with plenty of food available. Located a little out of town centre and surprisingly quiet. The rooms are in need of some minor maintenance but comfortable."
