Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge

"Great location. Clean and beautiful views. Restaurant available on property, dinner portions were small. Breakfast was good. Expensive to eat here but not much other options."

Majestic Valley Wilderness Lodge

Majestic Valley Wilderness Lodge

8/10 Good
"The property is at a fantastic location, with beautiful scenery in every direction. While the main lodge seemed excellent, the Adventure Lodge, the only ground-floor access, left much to be desired. The first room smelled badly, but Kendra, the manager, worked diligently and pleasantly to help us move to another room. The Adventure Lodge rooms were not just small, but tiny, and the shower was 2'x2', barely enough to move, and moldy. However, the room had very good beds, which is the most important. We enjoyed sitting in the outdoor lawn chairs, watching the kids play cornhole until dark, and loving the scenery. Kendra even came out to make sure we knew to look in the other direction to see the Dall sheep on the mountain behind us. The Adventure Lodge (economical - the only rooms still available) would be perfect for skiers, etc. but it was not up to our normal standards. The breakfast was fine, but overpriced. Final thought: Stay in the main lodge only if you can handle stairs."

Sawinglogzz Log Cabin

Sawinglogzz Log Cabin

10/10 Excellent
"This property is in a gorgeous log cabin home, which we found out was built by the owners themselves. The rental portion of the house is on the bottom floor. It is very spacious with two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a separate living room area. The four of us traveling together had plenty of room to spread out. We didnโ€™t want for anything. Everything we needed for an exceptional night stay was provided. Including TWO coffee makers for those who want their coffee right NOW. My communications, back and forth, with Luann were excellent. Especially considering that I first contacted her last December when we started planning this trip. If you are planning a trip to Wrangell St Elias National Park or the Copper Center/Glenallen area in general, I would highly recommend the Sawing Logzz B & B as THE place to rest your head."
