It is a beautifully preserved location that immerses you into Savannah’s past I love the decor and charm , the warm greeting at the desk, perfect location and cleanliness My husband and I were in Savannah 30 years ago and always wanted to come back We finally did after raising 3 children Back then, we noticed the hotel and I said how I would love to come back and stay there because it was the visual taste that I like . Finally returned and it was our turn to be able to enjoy the hotel Loved it and will be back!

Hotel was great, rooms well appointed, friendly staff, maid service was super and shuttle to local areas of town a major plus, but please please please get rid of the coffee makers in the room not only are they a pain to use the coffee is bad. I am not sayin I don't appreciate having a coffee maker in the room, but I am sure there are plenty of C/M's that can do a better job with a tastier product. Only other downside to the hotel was lack of ammenities (i.e. a gym and pool) if that is important when looking for a place to stay.
