"The room felt extremely small and claustrophobic - I even had to buy a fan just to get some air circulation. On top of that, only one of the two elevators was working, which made getting in and out frustrating and time-consuming. The constant noise from the street - even up on the 8th floor - went on day and night and made it hard to relax. Since this place is in Times Square, I’d recommend staying elsewhere if you’re looking for any peace and quiet."

"The hotel was ok. Elevators took a really long time. Early check in was verbally confirmed but at arrival, it wasn’t and we had to wait 3hours but at least the bar lobby waiting area was comfortable. We called housekeeping for extra pillows (4) and they kept delivering 1, for 2 nights in a row. Lots of miscommunications from calling housekeeping to the actual order that was sent. Location was great and convenient. Overall ok stay."

"Great location if you want to be close to Broadway theaters and classic NYC spots like Central Park, Times Square, and easy transit to other neighborhoods. Be prepared for slow elevators. Expect to wait a while coming and going, often packed tightly with other guests. Rooms are small but functional. Nothing fancy, but perfectly adequate. The AC struggled to keep the room cool. Even set to 65°F, it stayed around 75°F, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Opening the windows helped with airflow, but also let in a lot of street noise. The bar downstairs is good, though fairly pricey, which is typical for the area."

"Our air conditioner was broken for a couple days and it was 80 degrees. We called to get it fixed, and three hours later nobody came. We had to call again then finally someone came and opened the window. The AC was broken the whole time though (besides the first day)."

"This place doesnt have the best reviews but honestly the staff are real humans nice locals the bathroom and bed wss super clean . Its a rustic and old school hotel but for the price and location you cant go wrong . I would book again for sure . One thing i would mention if you book through a 3rd party the price does not include a resort fee per day which you will have to pay at check in . I was told to book through them direct next time ."
