"Overall, the updated room was nice. The only odd thing about the room was that there were several smaller lights on each side of the bed as well as the table across the room. To have the room lit up you had to turn them all on at the same time. For breakfast I would suggest that the plates they use be bigger because the waffle and syrup ran over the edge of the plates."

"The rooms had a old or musty smell to them. Breakfast was fair. Parking lot and driveway in very poor condition."

"I generally stay here when I am in town to visit family that live in Wausau. The 15- 20 minute drive to there is worth it. Rooms are always spotless, beds are comfortable, and the staff are top notch. Also, I am an asthmatic where perfumed cleaners and such produce an attack, and they are one of a few in the area that use non-scented products for cleaning. That may not matter to some, but to those of us who are affected, it is extremely important. "

"Was in town for the Ballet at The Grand Theater, was able to walk there and back easily. Had dinner and drinks before and our waitress made sure we we well taken care of and out in time for the show. Beds were comfy and room was clean. The furniture is looking a little worse for wear, but it’s a small thing. I would definitely recommend the Jefferson Street Inn."

"Pictures online are not accurate. Lots of homeless people living here. I had pets, so did others. Dogs barking all the time. Residents are noisy, which causes dogs to bark, which causes my dogs to bark. I barely slept. Almost checked out around 1 am because of the lack of quiet surroundings. As a single, female traveler, I was nervous about all the residents hanging outside. Didn't feel safe. I picked this place based on reviews and pictures. This is the 2nd time out of the last 2 that the online info was not accurate. I guess A1 can make everyone's hotel look spectacular. We are losing the truth from everything!!"

"Staff was great Breakfast was wonderful Room was clean. Minor issue with slow sink draining but, very well maintained hotel."

"Bathroom needed retiling. Had a tile in front of the toilet that rocked every time you used the toilet. All employees were nice and facilities were clean."
