"Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "

Good place to stay for exploring other attractions around the area, Cheddar Gorge, Haynes Motor Museum, Bath, etc. I would highly recommend especially for a couple. "A nice quite location, perfect for an early morning flight from BRS. Great having hungry horse attached making it easy to get decent food and drunk at a fair price. Althought a little dated, the rooms are very clean and excellent reception staff."

"The Swan Inn is in an ideal location to all notable amenities within the City of Wells. I found that there were plenty of car parking spaces at the hotel. The rooms within the establishment I feel are dated, windows not opening or closing properly, extractor fan in the bathroom not working, and dated furnishings. However, do not let these minor issues put you off from staying. The staff are excellent, and very attentive, the room’s even thou are dated are comfortable, with great bedding. As stated the location is fabulous. The breakfast here is good quality and there is plenty of choice. I would recommend this hotel, and I will be staying again in the future. Thanks."
