"The bed sheets were not clean. Covered in both human and dog hair. Room was freezing. Looks to be an old converted shed sitting in a concrete pad. It was 5 degrees outside and we had a constant draft through the doors, windows, and cold air emitting straight from the floor. The home is old, which is no issue. "Clean and comfortable rooms, nice decor. Fridge in the room was definitely cold! Really enjoyed our stay. Only negative was a water line break so water could not be used for drinking- no coffee, juice, waffles in the morning. Apples, yogurt and cereal only. Would have been nice to have a toaster with bread, jam, peanut butter etc for another breakfast option. It was fixed by Sunday."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Victorian. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is some train noise but we didn’t hear it after 11 pm so it didn’t bother us or disturb our sleep. Breakfast was great. We would definitely recommend!"

"Check-In staff was very accommodating and helped me with my special request. Room was very comfortable. Reading light, plumbing, television offerings, room AC all were as good as or better than other rooms at this price level. We were very close to front desk and pool but there was no disruptive noise. All was quiet. Grounds were clean and felt safe. Restaurants are close by, as is the Interstate Highway. We will stay here again."

"We had arrived earlier than 3 PM and had called to see if we could do early check-in. Was told no that they were booked the previous night and did not have a room clean. We completely understood and went and got lunch and did other activities until after check-in time. Returned after 5 PM to check in and the man behind the counter was not friendly. Almost made me feel like he was annoyed having to check me into my room. While I was actively checking in a worker (I’m assuming) walked up and started talking to the clerk at the front desk. I had finished filling out my paperwork and was waiting for my room key and the front desk clerk turned away from me without saying anything and walked over and had a quiet conversation with the other worker in the hallway. I waited for a few minutes for the clerk to come back and he stated “ are you finished?“ I had been finished with the paper even before the employee walked in. We get to the room. The AC unit was not turned on so the room was stuffy and hot. A red sauce of some kind is splattered on the unit with a long brown curly hair. Then the large mirror by the bathroom had multiple smeared handprints all over. Inside the bathroom, there was a dead bug on the floor behind the bathroom door. TV turned on with the remote but then could not change channel or select anything to watch on the TV. I took pictures of the mirror and dirty unit. "

"The room itself was clean. There was mold in the shower room. I would say about a foot down all the way around from the ceiling there were nails sticking out of the wall and the toilet room. Someone can easily get hurt on that there was no Wi-Fi so I can not get work done, and there was no couch, no TV, but that was OK. Overall, though it was a nice stay"

"So we stopped late at night to grab a room so we could rest before we finished our trip home. At first glance the room was clean but the closer we looked, there were definitely some things that should be looked at. Tables and nightstands were sticky, you could tell someone had burned cigarettes into the tub(along with a few dead bugs). The ac did get cold but it was so muggy in the room that the sheets felt wet all night. Overall not a bad place for what we paid but I would make sure that bugs were sprayed for and rooms at least touched up. I will say I did not report this to staff as we were tired and just needed a bed."

"Room was not clean: Stains everywhere on floors and chair. Towels all stained bad except for 1. Shower drain was filled with hair and gunk that had been left unclean for quite some time. Refrigerator/freezer combo did not work at an operational level. Room smelled like mold. Breakfast consists of: Honeybuns, cereal, activia yogurt, and bagels/bread. Drinks include coffee, apple juice, orange juice, and water."
