"It was a cool concept for a unique stay. Mint House is right in downtown which makes everything walkable. The staff was courteous, kind, and anticipated our needs. Can’t wait to stay here again!"
"The staff were wonderful. Eddie was so helpful.
The hotel itself was built in 1920’s. As a result the hotel has a lot of character but is in no way modern. You will have the benefit of a safe and clean place to sleep, bathe and store luggage. The location is beyond excellent and balances out the age of the hotel and sparse accommodations. If you are a light sleeper you will absolutely need good ear plugs because the walls and floors are thin. If you have bad knees, note the beds are low to the ground and the stairs are steep and narrow in the event you need to use them. You will need a steamer or travel iron for your clothes. Parking is one block away and is safe and convenient. There is a wonderful bar (Novu) connected to the hotel on the right. They have great HH specials on drink and food. Fortu is Michelin starred restaurant connected to the hotel on the left. I stayed for one night only needing the place to change and sleep. The property was good for those purposes. "
"We loved our stay here! The location is fantastic — you can walk to just about anything fun in St. Pete, and the area feels very safe. Even though it’s a B&B and not a traditional hotel with a front desk, Hugo was right there to greet us, help with our bags, and make sure we had everything we needed. Mark, the owner, checked in with us at departure and genuinely cared that we enjoyed our time.
The property itself has so much charm and character that it made our stay feel truly special — a completely different experience from staying at a standard hotel. I highly recommend giving it a try!"
