"Die Unterkunft ist in die Jahre gekommen und nicht ganz sauber - bei einem Schlosshotel kann man das vielleicht erwarten - es riecht massiv nach Schweine Stall !!! Sehr unangenehm - die Kosten für einen Hund mit 250 Kr / ca. 34 Euro sind definitiv zu hoch - aber am schlimmsten war die Täuschung beim Frühstück - beim check-In wurde sagt das Frühstück sei inklusive- leider was es nicht so - beim Check out wurde eine Rechnung gestellt - die Mitarbeiterin „Alte Dame“ bestand auf die Bezahlung !!!...

"A nice hotel in a small town in Jylland. The room is basic but sufficient. The bathroom was quite large and had good water pressure. It would be great to have shampoo. The breakfast is a nice spread with good rolls. The owner was friendly and I got to enjoy a concert there on the night I arrived. Right across the street from a grocery store if you need anything! "
"Wonderful location, walkable, 10 min from train station easy access through park, quiet, safe. Room was impressive, 2 bathrooms one with bathtub, kettle, lovely sitting area in room. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, plenty of options. Would recommend more coffee machines, always a line up!!! Would stay here again!!!!"

"I disliked this hotel immediately from check in with the rather snobby front desk agent, and then I get to my room and find that -surprise- no air conditioning! Nowhere in any of the write ups in Expedia or on the hotels website does it say "no air conditioning", and being a part of Wyndham hotels you would think It would have all the mod-cons. My room stank of either new paint or new carpet which left me with a headache and the hallway had no carpet so you could hear every footstep out there. To top it off there was no water for several hours one day AND for all of this, they have the audacity to charge you $23 per day to park IN THEIR OWN PARKING LOT IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING. I would never stay here again."
"Had a very good one night stay at the Kompass hotel. Room was good with an adequate size for our family. Breakfast was good with sufficient choice. Parking a bit complicated with EasyPark Park but got it figured out after a few minutes. Easy walk to downtown. A place to recommend if you are heading that way."

"I was trying to get a room on a short notice in Aalborg, and this hotel came out among others. I have to say, it is way better than what other ones offered. Room was sufficiently spacious, modern, quiet, comfy bed. I slept really well! Breakfast was until 11 am! I don't know if it was because of a Saturday, but I wish all hotels had breakfast till 11. It was an extra fee, but selections were superb, very tasty. It is 7 minutes walk from the railway station, and you don't hear the railway at all in the room. Service was nice. Near a big supermarket.
