We had a really lovely stay in Ho Chi Minh City and especially enjoyed our time at the Grand Hotel du Lac Boutique Saigon. The hotels location is excellent!
On arrival, we did experience some initial issues with our room and some differences between what we had booked and what was provided. However, the hotel team went above and beyond to address everything and ensure that we were comfortable and well looked after.
A special mention must go to Kelly, who was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. She made us feel incredibly welcome, listened to our concerns, and went out of her way to make sure everything was accommodated. Her warmth and professionalism really stood out, and she is a true asset to the hotel team.
Despite the initial hiccups, the way the hotel handled the situation ultimately made a very positive impression on us. We would happily return and would recommend the hotel to others visiting Ho Chi Minh City.

We stayed in the Hamelin room. Although the room was clean and tidy is looked tired. It also had the most ridiculous shower set up I have ever seen. Turn the water on and then wait approx 10-12 minutes for it to heat up. Such a waster of water. The breakfast and afternoon tea were ok. We have certainly had better. As far as location is concerned it was great. Markets just around the corner and Central square round the corner the other way. Cannot fault location.
