I see a lot of negative reviews posted about this property, but we have always found it to be a great option for those frequent weekends when everything within easy reach of Salinas/Monterey is overpriced. This property is consistently clean and comfortable, with a modest price tag for the area. We haven't had time to make use of the amenities/restaurant, so I can't speak to those, but I can say that we have stayed here many times and always find it to be a clean, comfortable stay at a good value.

The outside of the hotel isn't overly appealing, but once inside the hotel was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The room was standard fair, but the bed was comfortable and the pillows as well. Much quieter than I thought it would be, but a bit noisy with the slamming doors from time to time. Breakfast was actually really good, not covered by my Hilton Gold Status, but I could apply a $10 credit for a la carte food. I would recommend this place as an overnight place to crash.

Staff was nice. Property lobby is very clean and pleasant which is basically a facade for how grimy their rooms are. Room smelled musty and bathroom tub was leaking the entire time. Bathroom doors and walls had stains on them and shower curtains had mold. As soon you are get on the elevator you see how janky the hotel really is. Luckily I stayed for (1) night. It’s one of those hotels you keep your shoes on because the carpet grosses you out and you don’t use the duvet because clearly the rooms are poorly cleaned and sanitized.
