"Great location and room. We had a few issues:
1) Had issues locking safe our first morning. Reported to front desk. Was finally able to lock the safe. That evening, the safe would not unlock and held our items hostage. Called front desk. Took almost two hours to resolve the issue and get our items. Apparently, they didn’t check/replace the batteries before our visit.
2) Requested room be freshened after second night. Refresh wasn’t done when we returned to our room at 4pm. Called the front desk. No action. Had to find a hotel maid. Refresh occurred while we were preparing to go out to dinner.
3) Upon return to hotel after dinner, we found the handicapped parking stall occupied by car with neither a handicap placard nor a hotel parking placard displayed. When we brought it to the attention of the front desk, we were told that the owner did have both. Hard to believe as the hotel staff does not require registration of license plates. We had to park further from the entrance in a tight space. The next morning, at checkout, the issue had still not been resolved…same car without proper placards.
4) Our room was directly below a common terrace area. Other guests were making noise above us late into the night and early in the morning. Front desk staff failed to resolve issue.
The hotel was clean but shows more signs of wear than the three years it has been in operation. We noticed cracked seal in shower door, separating floor mounding and countless wall scuffs in the hallways. "
"Overall the hotel wss good. But the staff just was not 4 star staff. They were nice but just msybe not fully trained. No one seem to know the answers for things or you got a different answer from 1 staff member to another. Rooms were very nice and clean. Pool area was nice, however the food service st the pool was extreme slow anf unorganized. Then we paid for a fire pit smores experience anf we waited 25min after reservation time for the experience to start. I actually had to call the front desk to see if any was coming.. then finally got the smores snd placed an order for drinks. More than 30 min later the hot drinks arrived luke warm or cold. I just felt like i paid for an experience that was terrible, It was bad. But the property itself is great its just that i paid 4 star prices for 2 star service. I dont know if id go back. Id rather go to a ritz cartlon or four season. Ahain property was beautiful and the ppl were nice. Just not trained for 4 star service. I left feeling like i paid alot for this and usually i leave a 4 or 5 star hotel not really caring how much i spent bc the experience was amazing, this was not the case. Unfortunately "
"Sadly- things just didn’t go smoothly.
Air conditioning in our room was not working- we were offered a fan the first day. However the next day I asked the maintenance guy himself and it was fixed in 2 minutes.
Power went out in our room one morning from turning on the hair dryer. We were told maintenance wasn’t in yet so no one could flip the breaker.
Room keys reset 3 of 4 days.
Keys didn’t work to pool
We had called ahead to learn if there were plans for an egg hunt / the Easter Bunny - we were told no. Yet there were.
They were updating the room to the left and right of us - which was needed. But started working at 8am- not great when traveling with teenagers who could have slept in for their spring break.
Pool towels lacking.
Pool app to order - didn’t work Once we got it to and food was sent without the modifications
They need to set aside parking for hotel guests versus restaurant guests versus members .
