"The property is set in beautiful surroundings and the staff were excellent and very helpful. However the amenities in the room were basic with no tea or coffee making facility and a totally inadequately sized key operated room safe. The provided small bottles of water in the fridge are not complimentary. The Hostaria Terre Rosse restaurant was excellent. The children's menu was only available from 7pm in the main restaurant and not earlier from the snack bar which was a shame."

The restaurant options superb. Pool and Spa.. like you were in 4 seasons or Park Hyatt. The hotel grounds are huge.. hundreds of acres.. no joke. They have their own little village and castle. You can take trails, bike ride, rent a motorcycle.. drive to nearby towns.. take a wine tour, cooking classes... so much to...

"We stayed in a villa a little bit down the hill. It was quaint and comfortable. We enjoyed the olive trees and the overall placement of the Villa de Medici. I would recommend this as a getaway for you alone or to take a group of friends or family. The food is excellent. The staff is wonderful and I would stay here again on my next trip to Italy. "

"This was a very relaxing place to be for the first few days of my trip. It’s the perfect mix of Tuscan country and faster pace of downtown Florence. It was quiet at night except the calm buzz of cicadas outside. Absolutely picturesque views and easy to walk around. Loved access to a pool on super hot days. I’d absolutely come back to this hotel "
