This place is an absolute dream. From the moment we opened the white picket fence, we were welcomed by beautiful flowers and the warmest smiles from our hosts. They were genuinely some of the kindest people we met during our entire trip through Europe and made us feel right at home. This was my very first Bed & Breakfast experience, and it has definitely set the bar incredibly high. The entire upstairs apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the full kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to prepare a meal. One of my favorite parts was the view from the living room and kitchen, overlooking the charming main street and canals. It truly felt like something out of a storybook. Breakfast was absolutely delightful. We were treated to a homemade Dutch breakfast that was both adorable and delicious. Definitely ask for the eggs—they were some of the best I had on our trip! The fresh coffee, juice, and yogurt were wonderful as well. The location simply can’t be beat. You’re right in the heart of Giethoorn, within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and the local pub, making it the perfect base for exploring the village. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If we ever return to Giethoorn, this is the only place we’d want to stay.
