"The property is clean and well maintained, but get ready for tourist group central! The staff are friendly enough, but they always seemed overwhelmed with huge tourist groups. I generally felt bad for them! The location is great however and the pool is quite nice. The amenities are standard and suitable. I booked a one bedroom suite and it was fine. A bit of an apartment feel. For the money I think it was ok. I would skip the breakfast and forget a spa day…. Always booked full! There are great restaurants all around so go out and support the locals! I’ve stayed in over 100 5 star hotels around the world and while I’m not necessarily saying a bad hotel. The wait times for the lift, the lack of attention.. no one offered to carry my bags…. And I never felt anyone really went out of their way to make you feel special or truly grateful for choosing their hotel! The product is average at best and there are better options within a 1km area of the hotel. Would I stay here again? I don’t think so. For a few more dollars the Hyatt around the corner is a much better experience. I feel the hotel could seriously do with additional staff and a little more training in hospitality. "

"This place was simply fantastic. Clean room, good shower, comfy bed, complimentary filtered water in glass bottles that they refill. Rooftop pool had great views and was uncrowded. Was in a great location, too. Couple of tips, ask for extra shampoo and shower gel when you check in or press the button by the bed and hang the sign for room service after you use them. You will need both packets of shampoo for long hair, 1 packet of shower gel per shower. The water in the plastic bottles in the mini fridge is 10k a pop. Breakfast was not worth the 500k asked, but not sure if you can avoid it when you book online. Maybe try to pay in person and adjust while there. Overall, the place is a steal. "
