"The dining options were the same every single day: chicken or fish. Breakfast buffet only had a few items. Some days eggs were only available as hardboiled. But in comparison to what’s available in the rest of Tataouine this was the best option in hotels. "

There is a hot spring in the centre of the village free for all to swim in 2 mins walk. I hired a 4x4 trip from reception and journeyed into the Sahara for 3 hours. Peaceful, lovely pool and gardens. Quiet. Wake up to the fresh air and birds singing. "

"We cannot rate the property as it was closed. We were only informed of that two hours before arriving, and only after we had messaged to make sure there was the option of dinner. The owner told us the Expedia reservation we had made almost a month prior was automatically accepted and promised to find us alternative lodging. The alternative was near by and sufficient although not perfect. But it was by complete chance that a family of five did not arrive to a non-existent hotel in the evening in the middle of the mountains."
