"the bathroom was remodeled since the last time i stayed in that room/ Furniture was a little wore out and there could have been an extra lamp in the room. I just move the one in the room to the computer desk to make it work. Other than that you cant beat the price for this stay."

"Property was historic and interesting. Beautiful backyard seating area with tall trees. Grab and go breakfast was sufficient. Great location. Friendly hosts. Parking area was distant from the house over uneven ground with insufficient lighting. Also, there were not enough parking spaces for the number of guests. We had to park on a public street 2 blocks away. While the interior of the historic house was well done, it was a bit cramped and the room itself was somewhat claustrophobic. There were three floors and no elevator. the stairways to the upper floors were quite steep and very narrow. In summary, we felt that this property was not suitable for anyone with limited mobility and there should be some mention of this either by the reservation taker or the marketing materials for the property."

"Is run down compared 2 chain hitels. But quiet and clean unlike domr chain properties. And th cost is worth it. Its like thr old drive up to ypur room hotels. Pastries for am breakfast but didnt stay "

"This property is a gem for history enthusiasts. It contains a museum of artifacts discovered during renovations and is decorated to match the period it was built in. It is modern and clean however, with modern comforts like new outlets on each side of the bed and at both vanities in the bathroom. The staff were incredible. The owners helped us bring in our luggage and showed us around the house. They told us about the history as well as how to maximize our stay in Gettysburg. They found an ironing board for us to borrow and provided a magnificent breakfast everyday, included as part of your stay. We really enjoyed chatting with them. Finally, the rooms are beautiful and the beds are so comfy. I told my husband we need sheets and duvets as soft as theirs. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Gettysburg and we have recommended them to our family."
