The location is ideal—just a short, easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the historic sites that make Gettysburg so special. The manor itself is absolutely beautiful, decorated with elegant antiques that perfectly capture the charm and authenticity of the 1860s. It truly feels like stepping back in time, yet with every modern comfort. The Gettysburg Room was especially lovely—the spacious layout and the comfortable soaking tub were a perfect touch after a long day of touring the battlefields. Breakfast each morning was excellent, freshly prepared, and served in a gracious, period-style dining room. Innkeeper John and his family were warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about both the manor and Gettysburg’s history, adding an extra layer of richness to our stay.
