Lovely stay though not wasy to find
Lovely clean B&B. Comfortable bed , great shower and a nice breakfast. Its not the easiest place to find as there are no signs and locals had not heard of the place. I was fortunate . You go to the buildjng on the street num er 2 and buzz appartment 5.

Friendly, homely and value for money. Conveniently close to station (5-10 min walk) and to sights. It is very hard to find and the walk is steep with cobbles and steps, especially with luggage. Do take this into consideration when booking. Good idea to ring or email ahead when you know arrival time so she can give more detailed directions. But it is definitely worth it. The house and room are spacious and you are made to feel very welcome.

We loved staying here! Aneide is so sweet and it was such a beautiful place. Very clean and private, good company, and great breakfast! Definitely stay here if you have the chance.

The host was so kind and helped us with an issue that was my fault (mistake during booking). I highly recommend this stay. Make sure you find the public elevator on the street to avoid a steep walk!!

We had a wonderful time at Aneide’s. She is an incredible host. It’s a bit of a hike, but the hike is great exercise and there are shortcuts to get to Aneide’s. The location is fantastic. The port and train station are walking distance and there are so many delicious restaurants around. We look forward to returning to Aneide’s.

This property is 149 steps up the mountain. Taxi does not go there. There is an elevator that takes you up the mountain (if you can spot it, it's in the building), but it takes you higher than you need to be, and you then must descend many steps down. Not good for big suitcases or multiple luggage per person. Otherwise, nice property and hospitable owner. Close to port and train station.
