It was a wonderful place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was terrific. A walk around the corner, and you see the castle. Fresh produce and tea house nearby. The staff was exceptional. The price was very reasonable when I rented it, but it is likely more during busy seasons. Still, I highly recommend it. The old architecture makes you feel like you are staying in an ancient castle.

Only the confident, bold, and intrepid will even find the alley the hotel is in. The good: I loved my vaulted room. It was properly ancient, very clean, and quite atmospheric. The lighting is very suitable. The TV has an English speaking station. It has a refrigerator. The roof terrace is decent. It’s very picturesque. The bad: The water is erratic. Two days it only got warm, at best, and only at mid-day, and the last day it was scalding and hard to get right. Schedule showers accordingly. Mosquitos swarm the courtyard and somehow inflitrate the rooms. The main door is locked all day and guests are not given a key. If no one answers a knock, which is very likely, you’ll have to call to gain admittance; that is not right. The internet does not work in the morning, and it night it runs in the kbps range of speed, not mbps as is needed to do anything useful online. Did I mention it is very hard to find? I love the potential, but I doubt the people I met that run it will ever realize that potential. It’s not for everybody, but I’m glad I stayed in such an historic place.

Otelde karşılayan ve uğurlayan arkadaşlar gayet iyi ve misafirperverdi. Otel temizliğini eksik buldum bizden öncekilerin duş jelleri duşta duruyordu. Temizliği eksik buldum. Bahçe de çay ikramı güzeldi. Fiyatına göre güzeldi memnun kaldık. Arka tarafında araç park yeri vardı arkadaşlar destek oldu.

Odamızda sorun çıktığı söylenerek farklı otele yön

1 ay öncesinde Duranağa konağından rezervasyon yapıp ücretin tamamını ödedim. Konaklamamıza 1 gün kala konaktan Tolga bey aradı çok kibar ve yardım sever bir arkadaş teşekkür ederim. Bana ayrılan odada su sızma sıkıntısı olduğunu ve konakta başka oda olmadığı için bizide mağdur etmemek için kendilerine ait merkezde konumu çok güzel HEADMAN Hotel de misafir edeceklerini söylediler. Ben 1 ay öncesinden konakta kalma hayaliyle rezervasyon yaptırdım şehir otelinde kalmak isteseydim bir sürü seçenek vardı zaten. Ama bu aksilik bir gün önce olduğu ve 29 Ekim 4 günlük tatil olduğu için Gaziantep de her yer dolu yeni bir otel bulma şansımız olmadı. HEADMAN hotel şehrin çarşının tam merkezinde kat otoparkın yanında her yere yürüme mesafesinde otel çalışanları resepsiyonda ki arkadaşlar da çok ilgili misafirperverdi. Fakat otel eski ve bakımsızdı odada boyalar kalkmış kötü pis bir görüntü vardı banyo WC eski fayans vs olduğu için çok kötü görünüyordu. Yapacak bir şey yoktu bir gece konaklayacaktık. Geldik gezdik gördük gece geç saat girip yattık sabah erkende de çarşıda kahvaltı vs yapıp eşyalarımızı alıp çıktık. Gaziantep seyahatimizin talihsizliği çok önceden ayırmış olduğumun Duranağa konağında kalamasak oldu.

Odamız temizlendi denildiği halde odamızda yatagımızda çarşaflarda kıllar ve saçlar vardı yatak örtüsü değiştirilmemişti.Söyledik ondan sonra yenisini getirip değiştirdiler.Oda da sinen değişik bir koku vardı.Gece saat 1 olmasına rağmen rezervasyon kısmı odaya cok yakın oldugu için gelen giden kişilerin sesleri ve kapı zilinden düzgün bir uyku uyuyamadık.Ses yalıtımı sıfır.Tek avantajı kaleye ve çarşıya cok yakın.Ama bir daha gelsem uyku uyuyamadıktan sonra kalmamın bir anlamı yok.

6.02.2020 tarihinde ön ödemeli rezervasyon yaptırmamam rağmen otele gittiğimde yer olmadığı gerekçesiyle oda verilmedi. Ücret iadesi de yapılmadı. Çok basit bir hizmeti bile beceremeyen, müşteri listesinin deftere yazarak iş yapan amatör bir yer. Sakın gitmeyin yoksa gece gece benim gibi parasını ödediğiniz halde başka otele gönderilirsiniz. Ücreti de halen tarafıma iade edilmedi.
