"We left check-in a bit too late which came a faff as we were approaching the property on public transport. You need to check-in to obtain an entry code for the building and your room. Our own fault - we should have read the instructions earlier and checked-in to get the code. All good in the end though - the apartment was immaculate, well sited for access across the city and we'd certainly recommend to others and would revisit."

"This was right in the town and perfect for walking. There is a bar outside the apartment that can get quite loud but only until Midnight so don't worry, the location makes up for that. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "

"I don’t normally leave such detailed reviews, but in this case, it’s definitely warranted. Where do I even begin? The Mandarin Oriental, Lake Como was absolutely incredible and, without question, one of the highlights of our entire trip to Italy! We were travelling through Italy and booked only two nights at the Mandarin, but if we were planning the trip again, we would definitely stay at least one night longer. The hotel lived up to its name, which is synonymous with exceptional service, attention to detail, and over the top luxury. As breathtaking as the property is, though, what stood out most was the service and the way the staff made us feel throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, everyone was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Even more impressive, the staff members we met during check-in made a point of greeting us personally whenever they saw us again. Those small touches made a lasting impression and are exactly what separates great service from truly exceptional hospitality. Everything about our stay, from our room and the food to the floating pool and the spa, felt special. We were genuinely sad when it was time to leave and wished we had booked that extra night. The Mandarin delivered exactly the experience we had hoped for and somehow exceeded it. If you’re considering staying here, do it! It’s definitely a splurge, but for us, it was worth every penny. Next time we’re in Lake Como, we’ll absolutely be back, and staying longer! 5+++ stars!"
