I liked that it was on the highway, close to the hospital, where I had to take my mom for surgery. It was clean and quiet and parking was free and easy.

Friendly staff, They had a tooth brush and tooth paste on hand when I had forgotten mine. Glen is so kind and helpful, the entire group is. But Glen went above and beyond. Keep up the great work guys!

Easy access, set right back from highway. Jungle Jim's attached to hotel through interior ramped hallway/walkway (perfect for seniors to keep inside and anyone with accessibility needs!) Hot Fresh Coffee and Hot Water (tea and instant decaf coffee) 6:30am-11pm and in the hallway break behind the lobby desk wall ( so no need for awkward convos at 10 at night ;-) Hot breakfast 6:30-9:30 and the nicest staff ever! Crisp clean white linens and duvets greet you when you open the door. Rooms were well cleaned and appointed (microwave and new mini fridge (with freezer slot) and coffee maker with plenty of cups). 2 dining chair table with comfortable padded wood chairs, great for dining/desk space. 4 pillows per queen bed and of various density and comfortable pillow top mattresses to make any sleeper happy. Would recommend for your next visit to, or drive thru Gander, Newfoundland.

Nothing fancy, but the rooms and property were clean. Rooms were a great size; the beds were a little uncomfortable, but ok for just a couple of nights. Nice hotel compared to the others in the area. It was convenient that breakfast was included.

Great Stop
Great stay for a trio of tired travellers. We came in late from St. John's and were greeted by a friendly desk clerk. Rooms were great and breakfast the next day was appreciated. Just another stop on a tour, but we will be back on our next tour.
