"The AC kept the room cool well through the day and the beach access was nice. The service of the staff was okay, but I didn’t understand much of the explanation regarding bringing guests and accessing the beach chairs. Also, the pool is ridiculously small, about the size of the miniature bathtub or inflatable pool. The cleaning staff literally walked into my room without knocking on two occasions. There was no “do not disturb” sign available either. The main attractable attribute to the hotel stay was the nice balcony and beach view as well as the kitchinette and appliances. "

"Did a 5-nights at Los Arcos. Overall, a great option if you value location & beach over a full luxury all-inclusive. Pros: Friendly staff, amazing location, great beach, solid food Cons: Limited amenities, not fully all-inclusive, unreliable Wi-Fi, little pool shade We usually stay at 5-star resorts up north, but tried the Romantic Zone for a change—& it was worth it for the price. The hotel is smaller but has everything you need. There are 3 connected pools; hours are 10am–10pm, but you can grab chairs earlier. Shade is limited at the pool & umbrellas go quickly. The beach is the highlight—staff set up chairs & umbrellas from 7am & are attentive all day. Drink service at both the beach & pool was always quick. Food was better than expected, especially the fresh pasta/seafood station. All-inclusive only covers the buffet; other restaurants cost extra (you get 1 free dinner at Agave every 5 nights). But Plenty of great spots nearby. Wi-Fi didn’t work most of our stay, which was frustrating. The staff truly stood out—Pablo & Emilio on the beach, Omar at the bar, Filipe serving nonstop, & Silvester at the hot station all went above & beyond. Location is unbeatable—20 mins from the airport, steps from the Malecón, shops, bars, & a Saturday market. We felt very safe exploring. If you’re looking for an activity-packed, luxury all-inclusive, this probably isn’t the place. But if you want a great beach, unbeatable location, friendly staff, & freedom to explore - try it out!"

"The staff was amazing they made our stay extra special. This property is a great value for what you get. It’s definitely an authentic Mexican hotel. Felix the housekeeper was amazing and Antonio Rodriguez the front desk clerk was amazing! Also the night lady was amazing as well. Lupita took good care of me for breakfast as was delightful. We actually stayed here for the hamburgers at the burger bar because they’re the best hamburgers and french fries you’ll have anywhere and Manuela took good care of us. She was a delight and made us the best burgers ever all the staff here were very good. The buffet food was amazing. It was home cooked patty, authentic Mexican food, and it was healthy. This is a great resort. I highly suggest anybody to come here."

"Other than offensively loud jungle-type music (monotonous and repetitive beats, very few with any singing), this hotel was excellent. The staff said the loud music from approx. 4-10pm daily. was because it was a holiday week Our room was extremely comfortable with a gorgeous view from our balcony The entire staff was extremely helpful and polite The breakfast offerings were large and tasty. as were the lunch & dinner experiences We hope to rerun to beautiful Puerto Vallarta on a non holiday period and again stay at the Almar Sea "
