"This place was like being in Ireland. All the details were thoughtfully done and I can say this because I have been to Ireland six times. They have a complementary shuttle to the downtown business district of Galena, which I used once during our stay. Every thing was wonderful such as the always ready ice water and complementary coffee and tea around the clock.
Galena is a charming town with much history. We really enjoyed our visit and the Irish Cottage added so much to our stay.
Only one very minor detail that I noticed was that only two jets seemed to be working in the whirlpool by the swimming pool. This was not an issue for me, because I happened to be the only one in the whirlpool at the time, but if there had been one or two other people, it may have been a problem."
