"Beautiful property and rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Overall, the food could do with improvement, for example nachos were literally Doritos or something similar, with nothing on them, and everything else mixed into a cup to dip into. Saying that, food at Zanzibar, spice route and some of the breakfast options were very good. Lots of quirks though! Only one restaurant was open for lunch, and even being low season, food took up to 1 hr 45 minutes to arrive, with no real explanation. Same when their system showed us checking out a day sooner than actual, no real reason was provided as to why. Lots of cats, many are strays or kittens, and all should be spayed or neutered. "

"Beautiful all inclusive resort on Diani Beach, about an hour drive from Mombasa International Airport. I had the sea facing Deluxe Room which was absolutely beautiful and spacious. A shuttle is available for a fee to pick you up or drop off at airport. Days have low tide so you can walk on the beach. Resort has Pullman Tours office that can book off base excursions as well as book a snorkeling trip to the sand bar during low tide. I recommend the Mombasa city tour as they take you to the Akamba Market that has 2500 wood carving artists that sell their crafts at excellent prices and most of the money goes directly to the artist. Meals include buffets with food and desserts from around the world. Egg stations available in the morning for scrambles/omelettes and pasta stations at lunch/dinner as well as many other foods. Gym available for a daily fee. Recommend getting a massage at the Spa! Rooms are seaside so you hear ocean roar while receiving an amazing massage. Resort offers several pools- one of which is an adults only. Overall amazing stay. Would stay again- highly recommend! "

"What a gem of a property this is and the name is fitting as it can be a little difficult to find. The check in was a little slow as the women who is the mother of the owner Ann, was a little green and it took a bit longer than I would have liked. Then Cynthia took me up to the room and what a great surprise! The room was so large with a huge bedroom/living room area; large hallway with plenty of drawer and closet space; a walk in shower with many hoses and the bathroom included a bodet, two robes, slippers and plenty of towels. The service and food were outstanding provided by Cythia and Miriam. The desk was very accomodating to my needs. The pool was clean and refreshing. My only issue was the flies (perhaps some netting would help). Michael made me feel secure and the property is close to the beach, shops and banks. Compliments to the chef on the food items including a great Eggs Florentine and American Steak Sandwich. The housekeeping and pool maintenance staff were always hard at work keeping the property clean. I will definitely return when I come back to Diani Beach!"

"When we booked, I was unaware that I booked a villa. Boy oh boy was it huge. Everyone had tons of space. There was multiple balcony's to relax at. The Villa had a third story balcony. There are a couple pools and our Villa had an ocean view. The staff was friendly and security team was great. Le Cafe is the onsite restaurant. The food was good to great at all times. The kids enjoyed their custom ordered pizzas and the fries. We had to order extra baskets of fries as the ate them too quickly. Another big hit was the homemade icecream milkshakes. The beach was very nice in this area. Unlike closer to the Diani airport there was not a lot of rocks or coral pieces underfoot. The sand was incredibly soft. So was very comfortable getting in and out. *There are some beach boys in this area, but they was not very pushy or annoying. I never felt bad for saying no. I think since Galu is at the end of the strip it made for a calmer experience this time. One last note, it was easy to get Glovo deliveries for anything not at the hotel. Enjoy your stay. I will gladly book again."
