"Nice host but could do with updating and a thorough clean. We were only given one bath towel and one hand towel to share between two! Breakfast items weren’t great quality and it all felt rushed. Weren’t offered and extra tea or juice etc. Overall wished I’d booked somewhere else."
"The property was clean as was the room. The room was spacious and had a great mattress. The food was good, not great, in the restaurant. The breakfast was very well laid out with many choices."
"The Good:
The main hotel at Harvey’s Point, as well as its restaurant and bar, were fantastic. The hospitality and atmosphere in the main property were very high quality, setting a wonderful standard.

"Our stay was perfect. The Tara hotel staff were so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The cooked breakfast was always piping hot. The buffet was excellent too.
Rooms were very comfortable. Very spacious. We had a Juliet balcony which looked out over the Killybegs harbour.
The food in the restaurant was excellent too. We ate there a couple of nights.
Don’t forget to go the the wee bar downstairs it is a real treat. So much to see. They have live music on many nights of the week but you...

Food in the evening was nice but the menu could be a little more expansive when guests are staying several nights. Breakfast was good but not exceptional. The lack of onsite parking is a minor drawback but as charges are relatively cheap in the nearby public car park this is not a serious issue. The staff...
"Good location. The spacious and modern apartments are situated right in the center. Excellent beds. Mini fridge. Parking is available right outside. A good base for exploring the south of County Donegal. The town itself is small and lively."
