"This property is world class. The guest relations team is so friendly and helpful, the rooms are absolutely stunning and huge! The pools are gorgeous, poolside service and restaurants offer healthy and delicious options. Breakfast is included- panoramic views of ocean, river and mountains, the property is well maintained and in a super safe neighbourhood. Offers yoga classes and a variety of activities. Well worth the 10 min drive from Playa Guiones for some quiet serenity. Can’t wait to stay here again next time I return to Nosara! "

"We had an amazing stay at Hotel Guiones in Nosara, Costa Rica. The customer service was truly excellent—everyone was so friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The location is perfect—close to everything, yet still peaceful and quiet. The pool area is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach. We would definitely come back and can’t wait for our next trip!"

"The property is beautiful and the location is great for exploring the north side of town. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself could use a refresh. It is for sale so I suspect that will not happen until it has a new owner. My only real issue was lack of table space in the rooms to place keys, books, sunglasses, etc. Hotel services are limited. The coffee/juice bar didn’t open until around 9 a.m. So early risers need to go out (there are espresso pods available in the main shared space). Not a big deal as there are plenty of places nearby. No laundry service available. You have to go to the full service Super Wash a few buildings down. That wasn’t great as many pieces of clothing went missing. All in all it is a really nice spot. It could be great with just a few extra touches."

"Excellent stay, different mindset, of a luxury guesthouse with residences vs a typical international-standard hotel. Once inside your residence apartment, you will find a generous combination of materials, marble, natural wood fortitude, luxury ceramics, and fully equipped kitchen off of a decor magazine. The hotel pool bar is the only hang out area, where you get everything from your breakfast to afternoon drinks (no other meals offered). "The room was wonderful and bright. The staff did an amazing job at cleaning it and keeping it fresh. the entirety of the gilded iguana staff was kind and helpful. the breakfast was delicious and there was a variety of good eat options. the whole resort was well air conditioned and we never felt hot for a second while in our room. The kids club is amazing and the pool is pristine and the perfect temperature. and it is only a five minute walk away from a stunning beach. i definitely recommend the gilded iguana."
