Discovery Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was very helpful. Hot tub was great, used it one night and the next morning. Wife loved the small touches like fresh flowers, chocolates, robes in room. Good coffee maker and tea selection. Location was away from busy downtown, but was able to walk to church from there. Would definitely stay there again."

"You desperately need lamps/lighting in the rooms, to make it more comfortable, esp at night. The rooms are great, & the aesthetic is cool; spare & very European, but we didn’t find the room at night to be comfortable at all bc of the lack of lighting In fact, we moved hotels for the next 2 nights bc of this. A single exposed lightbulb in betw the beds, on a swing arm, is not really a reading lamp (cannot read with this dim single bulb!) nor is it comfortable in the room for watching a movie. Dismal, & lacking any warmth & ambience."

"Hotel overall was pleasant. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and roomy w patio area. Cute cafe. The only thing bothered me was the narrow hallway to the room."

"Orca Inn is a no frills place to stay, small room, but met our needs for a place to sleep. It was clean and quite. Staff was nice and allowed a very early checkin."
Best Western Plus Oak Harbor Hotel & Conference Center

"We were traveling with dogs and given a room with a slider that opened to a nice park to walk the dogs. I wish the park was fenced so the dogs could run around a bit. The room was beautifully maintained, sunny and cheerful. There is an excellent Chinese restaurant right beside the hotel. We walked over and had a wonderful meal. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hot tub was excellent, but the pool was too small. There was a ramp into the pool making access very easy. I would definitely stay here again."

"The staff was friendly. All the hotels in Oak Harbor are going to have to deal with air plane noise so plan on bringing ear plugs."

"The Hotel de Haro is from an antique vintage on San Juan Island.......built in 1886........it has original wood throughout. It has original style for the rooms with bath rooms renewed. 50 years ago my husband and I came here for our Honeymoon....September 18th 1976 was our wedding date.............came here a couple days later......it was spectacular to our delight. We have returned to experience it again and all the improvements......is wonderful to see and be here again woith my Beloved......."
