It was peaceful and quiet, making our stay enjoyable. The balcony view was wonderful, and it was peaceful to sit outside in the morning, sipping my coffee as the sun rose."

"Pretty clean, except for a dead spider on the floor and a tiny ant on the wall near the door. Check in was quick and easy. Beds comfortable. Needs more towels and a towel rack by the sink. A little road noise from highway but not bad. Driving distance to restaurants. No breakfast. Coffee in room."

"We enjoyed our stay at Historic Birch Lodge last month. We spent a quick night there on our way to Mackinac Island, it was an easy drive to the ferry the next morning. We enjoyed the bar, porch and lawn chairs. We loved the complimentary use of the Kayaks. Would stay again!"

"Room was very clean, and the three beds allowed our family to sleep comfortably in the same room. Breakfast was simple and good. We stayed here to visit Mackinac island, the shuttle services for the ferries picked us up right at the hotel. Pizza place down the road delivered right to the hotel making it easy to get food our first night after traveling. The beach was pretty clean and the water of Lake Huron was very clean and clear; was nice to walk and play in. Overall a positive experience and we would recommend."
