Home away from home

We rented this house for a weekend get away with friends and family. We had some cancellations at the last minute so it was just my husband and I in the house. The front porch brought back wonderful childhood memories with the swing, rocking chairs and screen doors! The home was furnished very comfortably and it felt like we were actually staying in someone’s home. Other than the distance away from Main Street, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We usually stay near Main Street so we can walk everywhere and this location was a bit too far. I would stay again if we had another group to go!!

It was great until I got questioned about what beds I used! I was appalled! I've used y'all as my booking service for several years now. I've never been anything but pleased with my stays. This one, not so much!

Relaxing and quiet

Blue Cottage was perfect for relaxing. Very comfortable and nicely decorated Tucked in a quiet neighborhood where the noisiest thing was the pair of doves cooing outside the bedroom window. Enjoyed our weekend stay.

Lovely country cottage

Wonderful old fashioned cottage that is perfect for a Fredericksburg holiday. It was like the best of being at your grandma's house in the country. Loved the rustic quaintness and privacy of having a little home. The beds were super comfy too!

Wine Trip!

This place is amazing! The house is well appointed with everything you need to make your stay perfect. The kitchen is well appointed if you want to stay in cook, and located close to everything if you don't. It's just a couple blocks off Main. The antique decor matches the outside of the house. All in all, a great place for a couple or some friends!
