Carmel Inn

Prestige Prince George Lodge
8/10 Good
"The King suite was very large, bathroom was a good size. Bed was comfortable. Mini-fridge was useful, but was missing 2 shelves in it and no freezer. The bathroom sink was missing the plug. Room was at the very end of the hallway, so it was quite quiet. The morning breakfast is a great feature, but there happened to be sports team (s) at the hotel and they completely took over the breakfast room. There was even parents standing to eat, yet I saw kids not eating and sitting at tables talking. Not the fault of the hotel, just an inconvenience when I was expecting to be able to sit and eat some breakfast which I ended up skipping. Also, there was a notice on the dining room door saying absolutely no food to be removed from the dining area! So I couldn't even take a plate of food to my room, when all the tables in the dining room were taken. But the breakfast items looked great, coffee was good and the dining area was clean. I would stay again, but maybe ask if there is teams booked in at the same time, lol. Over all a good place for a night or two."
