The Historic Park Inn Hotel

"The history behind the building was fascinating, as was the decor. Melissa from Food and Beverage was great. She gave us a tour, told us stories and was very pleasant. She was my favorite thing there. One of the tiles was missing from the shower floor. The fitness room had 2 working pieces of equipment a stationary bike and what looked like it was some type of rowing machine. Only 1 of the 4 coffee stations on the website was used. The room was small."

"Overall if you need a bed and a place to stay, this was fine. We got a great rate and with needing two rooms for two nights, it made the most sense. They do have a continental breakfast but there was no variety in the two times I stayed (four nights total). Biscuits and gravy, but no bacon or sausage. Eggs were premade circles. Did have coffee, juice, bagels, toast and frosted flakes. Pool was small and the water chilly but typical of hotel pools these days. I enjoyed it on my first stay but our family didn't make use of it on our second stay. I found bed comfortable but others found it hard and stiff. Elevator area was not overly clean. Staff was friendly but not always easy to find."
